Happy in Orlando

We had a great stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort in Orlando. We should have just stayed there instead of trying out the park! Lucy ruled the pool water slide and the boys made friends, and Caty loved the special hair wrap station right next to the pool.

The (NOT SO) Magic Kingdom

Here is a glimpse of some moments at Disney's Magic Kingdom. Crowded? Well, does a 280 minute wait for a ride tell you anything? We get an "A" for effort, anyway.

The Holy Family

Frankie was one of the narrators in this year's Nativity Play, "That Special Night". What a stud!
Here's Caty, looking more like a hen than an angel, as her wings, secured with fishing line, slowly fell to the ground by play's end. She was an angel in the Nativity Play.

This is Vincent (aka "Joseph"), starring in the Nativity Play at our Church. He was not so happy before the play, so this look says that he's glad it's over.

The Brothers Campanale

Vincent and Frankie both made Honor Roll at Hurffville Elementary (that's 4 for 4 for Frankie and 1 for 1 for Vincent), and I wanted to take a picture of them holding their Honor Roll Certificates. Since they were not happy about being dressed up for Mass, it's more of a mug shot...Next is a picture of the boys after serving Mass at St. Pius X retreat Center still in their albs. This was a big deal for Vincent, especially, since this was the first Mass he ever served and he was terrified! They both did a great job.

MAMA MIA!

Nan and Pop got Joe & myself tickets to see Mama Mia in NYC for our anniversary, but then Joe had to go to Orlando, so I took Caty! She LOVED it! Thanks to Pop for driving us.

Visiting Santa!

We took the kids to a Craft Fair at our church and Santa was there. The kids were amazed (and so was Joe) when Santa called him "Little Joey Campanale"...it turns out that Santa was a man that Joe used to work with 3 jobs ago! The girls took "the train" to see him but the boys were too cool. When it came time to sit on Santa's lap, Vincent was the one who hid, even though it was Lucy's first time ever meeting him!

'Tis the Season!

Here are a few pictures of the kids getting ready for Christmas by trimming (the BOTTOM) of our 12 foot tree! They had fun, and every day I have the pleasure of cleaning up broken ornaments because Lucy keeps moving them.

Caty's Reader's Theater

Right before Thanksgiving, Caty was chosen as one of 10 kids in the first grade at Hurffville Elementary to read at the Washington Township Board of Education Meeting. She did a great job! The group was featured in the paper a few weeks later. The mascot you see is "The Minuteman", the symbol of Washington Township. Here's a snippet of the music that they sang, too.

and here's a few pics from the evening:
