The trip to Vermont this was year was, as always, WONDERFUL, however this year Joe couldn't go with us, as we had just opened the restaurant. So we were a little sad and I was more than a little stressed. 1200 miles later, we got home but not until we had some new and exciting experiences. One of those experiences was being led by our GPS system, who our children affectionately named "Shannon". It seems that Shannon prefers "off-roading" to regular roads when in Vermont, and therefore we took some treacherous trips to Lake Elmore State Park and even to Cabot Creamery. Of course we also went to Stowe, and finally we took a trip across the great Lake Champlain, where my boys borrowed my video camera and interviewed the Captain and several unsuspecting passengers. Nan's food was great, as usual, and the company was perfect. Maddie and Lucy TORE IT UP!
